RichyRichRacing Chistmas Top Ten Garage Playlist
It’s always good to have a bit of music on in the garage it helps cover up the f’ing and blinding.
As it’s Christmas I thought I’d post up my personal top ten best ever Christmas themed records. Don’t worry, there won’t be any Wham or Mariah Carey..
Number 10 – R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas
A wonderful Christmas song featuring robots.
Number 9 – Bob Dylan – Must Be Santa
If you thought Dylan was all serious protest songs about civil rights and stuff then you’d be very wrong.
Number 8 – The Ramones – Merry Christmas (I don’t want to fight tonight)
At number 8 it’s the Ramones with this upbeat Christmas ditty.
Number 7 – Cyndi Lauper – Christmas Conga
Captivating Cyndi, Christmas Classic!
Number 6 – Basshunter – Jingle Bells (Bass)
I love it when people put a new spin on something, this is all about taking Jingle Bells and adding (Bass) to it.
Number 5 – Half Man Half Biscuit – It’s cliched to be cynical at Christmas
No half decent playlist is half decent without at least one Half Man Half Biscuit track in it. This one is half decent.
Number 4 – Run-DMC – Christmas In Hollis
“It was December 24th on Hollis ave in the dark, when I see a man chilling with his dog in the park..”
Beautiful.
Number 3 – Elmo & Patsy – Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer
Explores the darker side of Christmas with what seems to be a tale of a family with alcohol problems trying to cover up a murder.
Number 2 – Barenaked Ladies – Elf’s Lament
If Elves wore gilets jaunes..
Number 1 – DJ MuscleBoy – MUSCLEBELLS #DROPTHEBASSJESUS
Jesus, just drop the bass already. Christmas classic, should be at #1 every year.
